As we are moving closing to the most talked about coming event of the nation, the 2023 Presidency election, different stories and antics are unveiling, the surprising, the unexpected, the comical, the ridiculous and more that’s endless, all in the singular aim to decide who clinches the revered seat of our nation, supporters are putting huge lot of stunts at play to help the chances of the favorite candidates.
My dear patriotic reader, note this simple truth, don’t be get tricked by their gimmicks, we as a nation are yet to have a candidate that can transform this nation as these candidates of ours are professing, transformation we desire can’t easily come with the settings and situations we consciously and unconsciously find ourselves as a nation, whoever emerges will only try to improve the situation of now and not expecting a messianic results and not leaving the truth untold, they are devils in angelic guise with their various parochial interests,in the midst of it, we are going to help one of them saddle the affairs of our dear nation which my little kobo of advice is choose your devil thoughtfully.
In a bid to help you know better about the reality of the moment not the fictional spaces they have fantasized media and other factors around. I will express my opinion about the three leading candidates of the forthcoming presidential election which are Peter Obi of Labour Party, Atiku Abukabar of People Democratic Party(PDP) and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of All progressive congress (APC). As my opinion might not be the perfect pieces of who they are and what they are capable of doing but it will in one way or the other help your decision making on who you will support either to your personal or national interests.
Peter Obi
He’s a two term governor of anambra, known for some great feats during his reign as the governor of the state, a technocrat with a vast prowess of economic analysis which has some effects on his governance patterns which garnered him huge support for youth populations as the best hands to transform our economic status in a time like this where a economy can be said to be in what can be described as total shamble. His campaign so far in the media spaces have been outstanding, the question of the moment begging for an answer is “will these supports on the online spaces transform to votes from him on the Election Day?” as we know Nigeria way of politics is not as the same with the westerners that media do play inestimable roles on who emerges, though he will have huge support of south southerners and south easterners. Does all these show him a chance of winning, think it critically and Nigerian will decide in the day of Elections, but the blatant truth is he’s not a saint to the extent he’s been pitched to be, he has his weaknesses which are clear to those who are not being sentimental to his personality.
Atiku Abubukar
A two term Vice President of the nation and presidential aspirant on different occasions under different platforms. His former portfolio as the former Vice President of the nation show him as one of the most experienced of all candidates and his track records as the chairman in charge of economy during his reign as the Vice President is another edge for him. Coming from the Northern side, known for huge electoral populations and disposition to always support their own whichever way is a great factors that might help his emergence as the number one citizen of this nation. The ills against him is the countless corrupt and crimes cases against him which is his boss, Gen Olusegun Obasanjo attested to at some point in time. With all these being said do you think he’s the best fit among the trio.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
The renowned astute politician is a former senator, two term governor and one of the progenitor and most respected leader of the ruling party, APC. He’s also known for his economic prowess of transforming the country metropolitan state, Lagos state. Popularly tagged the Architect of the modern Lagos state we are experiencing through his great skill of management.
Also, he is known a great developer of men as he has raised good numbers of common men to men of values and repute through his political will which will in turn transform to massive support of many political gladiators to his side. Though he’s rumored to be accused of some corrupt cases but no facts to substantiate it or accused him, even with that he has some records that doesn’t make many see him as the best fit to lead this country to the dream land we are thirsty of.
The pursuit of who lead us in the next dispensation will continue to be more tensed, fierce combat, promising and lively as many dramatic and unexpected scenes will still erupt beyond the surprise of the masses.
