278 graduates of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) will be awarded with first-class honours in the upcoming convocation ceremonies of the institution.
The university is set to hold its 40th anniversary and 25th and 26th convocation ceremonies on March 26, 2022.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Eddy Olanipekun, made this known during a press conference earlier today, as he also revealed that a 16,433 graduands are set to graduate from the institution.
The governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele would deliver the convocation and fortieth-anniversary lecture titled, ‘The Role of Central Banks in Managing Economic Downturns’.
Former Osun State governor, Chief Bisi Akande; former president of the Nigeria Bar Association, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN; human rights lawyer, Femi Falani, SAN alongside Godwin Emefiele and other prominent citizens of the country would be conferred with the institution’s awards during the ceremony on Wednesday, March 30.
