Reports reaching KikioTolu has it that Saraki lost his bid to return to the Senate, though nothing is official yet.
In 2015, Saraki emerged winner of the Senatorial election with 118,879 votes, defeating his closest co-contestant from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Abdulrasak Abdulrahman, who polled 66,864.
Well, this year he is now in the PDP and things seem to be different.
