As we all look forward to the 2023 general elections in Nigeria which is set to be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, we would also love to know where to register for the permanent voter’s card.

When is INEC going to begin voters card registration ahead of the 2023 General Elections

It was good news for those who are yet to register for the INEC permanent voters card as the process is currently ongoing across the 774 local government areas of the federation.

The INEC voters card registration exercise would take place from 9 a.m to 3 p.m on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays), excluding public holidays.

Who is eligible to register for the INEC permanent voters card

You have to be Nigerian
You have to be above the ages of 18 years
If you have not previously registered for the voters card (it is a crime to register twice)

The process for this year’s INEC voters registration is smooth and easy. You have to start the whole processing online from the comfort of your home, visit the registration center for capturing, and boom. You are all set and good.

Simply visit https://cvr.inecnigeria.org/Public/getStarted, click the ‘New Registration’ button, then signup with your details.

The process is simple and sure won’t take your time.
