Full Biography of Nigerian Politician and Actor – Richard Mofe Damijo
Richard Mofe-Damijo was born in Aladja community of Udu Kingdom, Delta State, Nigeria. Richard attended Midwest College, Warri and Anglican Grammar School. After his secondary education he enrolled into the University of Benin to study Theatre Arts. In the year 1997 Mofe-Damijo returned to study law at the University of Lagos graduating in the year 2004.
After graduating from the university he took part in a TV soap opera titled ‘Ripples’. Out of Bounds was the first film for which Mofe Damijo received a writer/producer credit. In the year 2005 at the first edition of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Richard Mofe-Damijo won the award for Best Actor.
He was married to the late May Ellen Ezekiel, after her death in the year 1996, he married again, this time to Jumoke Adegbesan. He has five children in total; four from his current marriage to Jumoke Ayegbesan and one from his previous marriage with MEE.
