Just last week Sunday I was sitting in the studio and an artist who came to record spotted my phone and was like.
Bro, you are using the best phone ever!!
Yes, I was using the Infinix S2, but I wasn’t surprised a bit cause I knew that already.
A little bit of history.
I used to be a die hard HTC fan, buy recently I switched to Infinix, though I can’t yet call myself a die hard Infinix fan as I am still just on my third ever Infinix smartphone.
For the record, I used over 10 HTC phones, started with the first ever Android device, HTC Dream.
My first Infinix phone was the Infinix Hot, I pre-ordered it on Konga, and made a real bargain with the phone, as I sold it for more than the value later on. That should tell you how well the phone performed in the market.
So before I bore you with my personal history, let me go back to the main topic of this article.
Why the Infinix S series might just be the best ever from the OEM.
I bough the Infinix Hot S weeks after the release and enjoyed the phone for a year or thereabout before I switched to the S2.
No, I didn’t sell my phone this time, I had to give it out to someone I love, cause the Infinix Hot S was just too special for me to sell it.
I hoped the S2 would be an upgrade, and it has beaten my imaginations.
I am not going to go back and fort giving you the specs of this phone again, as I believe most of us already know that. But if you have handled this device, you are sure to agree with me that it is smooth.
I first opted for the S series because of the phone size, and I wasn’t disappointed, the design is silk and smart, and that saves me from holding a bulky device that does about the same thing.
What are the core competence of this phone?
Like I said earlier the Infinix S2 is really smooth, like you can run a lot of processes on it and not fear your phone would lag. I only experienced phone lag when I removed my external memory and used 96% of the internal memory. What else was I expecting?
So when I heard that Infinix are set to release the S3, I was like, woah, what else do they want to offer.
I read up the specs and noticed the S3 was also a massive improvement. Mehn, that’s really stepping up the game.
If you are an MTK phone user, you must have had at least one experience of those cocky Samsung and iPhone users downgrading your phone because it is MTK and theirs is Qualcomm.
Well, the Infinix S3 just came as a game changer. This devices solves all the problem we could have experienced on the Infinix S2.
It is Qualcomm, comes with more memory, 32GB, and also has an extra sim slot. So now you can use your memory card and dual sim.
Though with all the good points, its really sad that my Infinix Hot S is still stuck in Android 6.0 while my S2 is still stuck on 7.0. I think the OEM need to work on this and make update available so as to keep potential die hard fans.
Don’t ask me why I left HTC phones.
