As part of activities lined up for the World Maulud celebration slated for Saturday 17th December 2022, special jum’at prayer was held at the Minna Central Mosque.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State joined hundreds of Muslims to observe the prayer.
In a sermon, the Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, Sheikh Isa Fari stressed the need for parents to instill the fear of God in their wards.
He said to have a society free of societal ills, Muslims must live their lives in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
The Jum’at Prayer, was preceded by a Conference at the Idris Legbo Kutiigi hall where discussions were on for the best ways to cater for the needs of orphans, women education and how Muslims should avoid acts capable of tarnishing the image of Islam.
